Four Twenty Pipes connects local head shops with the online consumer by adding a custom storefront to fourtwentypipes.com. This allows customers to shop for and buy our vendors’ products from anywhere, at any time.

Why that matters:

The future of commerce has been transitioning to the online marketplace since 1994 when Amazon was first incorporated. Since then, the numbers speak for themselves. Yet, many store owners in this space have not opened an online store, and some haven’t even created a website yet!

We fix this, and ensure that small and local businesses will be able to grow, without having to figure out the ecommerce stuff. Leave that to us.

How it works:

We add all of the products of the owners’ choosing from their store onto our website. A customer buys the product off of our website. We handle the shipping cost and collect the necessary sales tax, and notify the business via email that the product is sold. Then, either the business can choose to pack and ship their own order or allow us to pack it up and ship it for them! When a transaction is complete, we send the vendor their portion of the proceeds. They never have to worry about listing or packing orders.

Adding your store: 

After the company agrees to the terms and conditions, the owner will tell us all of the products that they want added online. They can provide any stock photos or marketing materials that they would like to add. We take stock photos, weigh, title, and write descriptions for each unique product. Then, we create a collection page that has all of their products on it. We tag each item so that it will appear in any selection that it is related to.

You can see all of the products available for sale, and even organize them by category. 

Collections of products are available on the home page, and products for sale from local businesses will be on display there as well as by search.

We don’t complicate things like other online retailers. We charge a simple fee of 15% and only when a sale is made. If an item is sold and it wasn’t through our website, no sweat. No transaction fees, hidden fees, or subscription fees to worry about. 

Information for the 217 area only- we offer fulfillment services for your orders. That means that we literally go in to your business, pack and ship orders made off of our website for you so you don’t have to lift a finger. We offer this for free for 12 months to the first 20 vendors to partner with us, and after that we will charge an additional 5% for the service.
